Explore Venice from Rome by fast train, then discover its canals on a guided walk and a classic 45-minute gondola ride.

About this tour

Trade Rome’s streets for Venice’s canals on a private day tour that pairs fast-train travel with time to explore the city on foot and by gondola. A private chauffeur handles pickup and drop-off, while round-trip business-class train tickets and public vaporetto transport are included.

In Venice, follow a private professional guide through a maze of bridges, waterways, and narrow alleys during a three-hour walking tour. Then take to the canals on a 45-minute gondola ride, a classic way to see the city from the water. Your visit also includes entrance tickets to either St. Mark’s Basilica and the Pala d’Oro or Doge’s Palace. A private tour leader is at your disposal, with the language selected at checkout.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
