Explore Sacramento at your own pace, completing app-based challenges and finding objects as a remote host helps your team compete.

About this tour

Turn Sacramento into your game board with a scavenger hunt that rewards curiosity and clever teamwork. Using an app, explore the city in any order you choose as you complete challenges and search for objects to collect points.

There’s no fixed route to follow: decide which tasks to tackle and use strategy to rise on the app’s leaderboard and compete against other teams. A remote interactive guide is available through chat to help during the game. The experience lasts two hours, and you’ll receive instructions before you begin. Bring your own smartphone, since one is not provided, and arrange your own transportation.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.50 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Sacramento
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.0.
