Explore Salem’s witch-trial landmarks with a GPS-guided puzzle walk you can start, pause, and resume at your own pace.

About this tour

Follow Salem’s witch-trial story through the streets where its history unfolded. This GPS-guided mobile experience connects the events of 1692, from Puritan beginnings and rising tensions to accusations, spectral evidence, failed justice, and the city’s modern remembrance. Along the way, visit landmarks including the Witch House, Old Town House Site, Charter Street Cemetery, the Witch Trials Memorial, the Bewitched statue, and Proctor’s Ledge.

Salem GPS App Walking Tour blends sightseeing with a puzzle-solving adventure. Your phone guides you from stop to stop, while interactive clues invite you to look closer and discover hidden details. There’s no physical guide, fixed departure time, or need to keep pace with a group: start when you’re ready, take a break, and resume later.

Bring your curiosity and explore Salem at your own speed with this immersive Salem GPS App Walking Tour.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
