Explore Salem’s Enchanted Garden, try three magical activities, and learn about modern witchcraft on a guided 60-minute walk.

About this tour

Step into Salem’s Enchanted Garden, where a musical light show, dragons, cauldrons, and drifting fog set the scene for a spellbinding walk. On this 60-minute Salem Witch Walk, join in three activities: a full ritual, a bay leaf wishing spell, and herbal magic to take home. Before leaving the garden, jump the broom and leave your worries behind.

Then follow your guide through Salem’s streets to explore what modern witches do and don’t do. Along the way, learn about contemporary witchcraft and hear a blessing that honors the victims of the 1692 witch trials. A professional guide leads the experience, bringing together playful garden magic and a respectful look at Salem’s history.

Come ready to take part, discover a different side of Salem, and enjoy a memorable Salem Witch Walk through the city.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.69 from 1,361 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Salem
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.1.
