Paddle Anna Maria Island’s calm waters after dark in a clear, LED-lit kayak, with a local guide leading the way through mangrove scenery.

About this tour

After dark, the water around Anna Maria Island takes on a new glow. Climb into a 100% clear tandem kayak fitted with bright LED lights and watch the water beneath you as you paddle through calm, shallow coastal waters.

Your 90-minute Anna Maria Island Night Glow Clear Kayak Tour begins with a safety briefing and basic paddling instruction. Then follow a knowledgeable local guide through the island’s sound and scenic mangrove tunnels near Neal Preserve. Small groups keep the outing relaxed, while the transparent hull offers a distinctive view of the underwater world. Paddles, safety equipment, life jackets, and parking are provided; bring your own water and footwear that can get wet.

Glow Boats is a locally and female-owned business focused on responsible eco-tourism. If you’re ready to see the coast from a different perspective, book your Anna Maria Island Night Glow Clear Kayak Tour and experience the shoreline after sunset.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Sarasota
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 50% in Sarasota means it ranks in the top 50% of tours in Sarasota by this score.
