Solve the Circus Queen’s murder aboard an interactive Sarasota trolley mystery, with optional roles and complimentary wine or beer before boarding.
About this tour
Step aboard a trolley where the circus is in town, the suspects are all around you, and the Circus Queen has been murdered. This 90-minute Sarasota murder mystery turns the ride into an interactive theater experience, with clues and motives to uncover among the circus folk.
You do not need acting experience: speaking roles involve reading a line from a script, while non-speaking roles use a prop. Participation is encouraged, and you can let the provider know if you would like to join in. Wear a circus costume if you like, then settle into the air-conditioned trolley and help the sleuths solve the case. Before boarding, enjoy complimentary wine or beer at the Trolley Cottage Tiki Bar.
Arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure; the trolley leaves on time. Come ready to follow the clues and see if you can identify the killer on this Sarasota murder mystery trolley.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.80 from 101 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Sarasota
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
