Fish Sitka Sound on a private four-hour charter with a local captain, heated cabin, and flexible start and return times.
About this tour
Set out from Sitka for a private fishing trip along the wild coast of Southeast Alaska. On this Sitka Private Fishing Charter, a local captain and Alaska fishing guide take you onto the waters of Sitka Sound aboard a fully equipped, Coast Guard-approved vessel with a heated cabin.
Choose a start time between 6:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The charter includes the first four hours, with the return time chosen by your party. Spend your time fishing, or head back toward town for coastal views and the chance to spot marine life. Snacks, water, soda, ice, and fishing equipment are provided; bring your own rubber boots and rain gear, and arrange your Alaska fishing license separately.
Meet Suzy-Q at Crescent Harbor, a short walk from the town shuttle stop. The operator says it will get you back to your shuttle or cruise ship before departure. Book your Sitka Private Fishing Charter for a flexible day on the water with a local guide.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Sitka
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 48% in Sitka means it ranks in the top 48% of tours in Sitka by this score.
