Fish the waters of Sitka Sound on a private five-hour charter with a local guide, heated cabin, snacks, and flexible return time.
About this tour
Set out from Sitka for a private fishing adventure along the wild coast of Southeast Alaska. A heated cabin offers a comfortable place to warm up between casts, while your captain and Alaska fishing guide take you onto the waters of Sitka Sound.
The charter includes five hours, with start times available from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You can choose when to return, whether you want to keep fishing or head back to town and enjoy the scenery. If time allows, cruise through Sitka Sound for coastal views and the chance to spot marine life. Snacks, water, sodas, and fishing equipment are provided; bring your own rain gear and waterproof footwear, and arrange your Alaska fishing license separately.
A private vessel gives your group room to enjoy the day at your own pace. Book your Sitka Private Fishing Charter and experience the Pacific coast with a local guide.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Sitka
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3. Top 48% in Sitka means it ranks in the top 48% of tours in Sitka by this score.
