Discover Washington, DC’s political heart on a 2.5-hour Capitol Hill walking tour, where landmark institutions and national history come into focus. Meet your guide outside Capitol South Metro station and set out on a semi-private walk capped at 12 guests. Along the way, hear how Washington grew from a swamp into the capital of one of the world’s most influential nations as you explore the buildings and institutions that define the city. At the end of the tour, your guide provides passes for the House of Representatives and/or the Senate. These passes do not include a guided Capitol Building tour. The route operates rain or shine and may change during national celebrations; some sites may also be closed to visitors because of security measures. The Supreme Court can close without notice.
