Trade Palm Beach’s coastline for Lake Okeechobee’s grass flats on a private bass fishing charter with a local captain.

About this tour

Trade the Palm Beach coastline for the open water and grass flats of Lake Okeechobee, one of the world’s best-known bass fisheries. This private Palm Beach bass fishing charter brings you to Florida’s largest freshwater lake for a day on the water with a local captain.

Your captain adapts the outing to current conditions, steering toward productive fishing areas and sharing local knowledge and techniques along the way. Cast with the provided rods and reels, and keep an eye out for osprey, herons, and alligators as you explore. The private format suits anglers looking for a focused outing, while the included safety equipment and bottled water help make time on the lake more comfortable. Fishing licenses, food, and optional live bait are not included.

Meet your captain at Slims Fish Camp, where free parking is available. Set out to discover the fishing and wildlife of Lake Okeechobee on a Palm Beach bass fishing charter.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 10 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in West Palm Beach
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.6. Top 32% in West Palm Beach means it ranks in the top 32% of tours in West Palm Beach by this score.
