Cruise from Lake Park Marina to Peanut Island for a three-hour sandbar escape with swimming, paddleboarding, water mats, and local stories.

About this tour

Trade the shoreline for open water on a Palm Beach sandbar and swim tour, where a scenic cruise leads to a bright, shallow stretch of water near Peanut Island. Depart from Lake Park Marina and travel along the Intracoastal Waterway before settling in at the sandbar for a refreshing swim and an easygoing break in the sun.

Paddleboard, stretch out on oversized water mats, or simply enjoy the clear water with friends. Along the way, your captain shares stories about Peanut Island and the historic Kennedy Bunker, adding a local perspective to the scenery. Bottled water is provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own beverages for this BYOB outing. The tour lasts three hours and welcomes groups of up to 34, according to the available tour details.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.54 from 92 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in West Palm Beach
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.7.
