Start your Big Island vacation with a traditional fresh-flower lei greeting at Kona International Airport.

About this tour

Arrive on the Big Island to a warm island welcome. This traditional Kona Airport lei greeting offers a simple, memorable start to your Hawaiian vacation, with a fresh-flower lei waiting for you at Kona International Airport (KOA).

Meet your representative just outside the terminal on the way to baggage claim; they will hold a sign with your name. The greeting lasts about 15 minutes and includes the lei only, so arrange your own transportation from the airport. Be sure to provide your flight information when booking. Each order covers one flight, and missing flight details may result in a $10 late fee.

Make your first moments in Kona feel unmistakably Hawaiian with a traditional airport lei greeting.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.58 from 92 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Big Island of Hawaii

Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.5.
