About this tour

Step into the green countryside of Ola Nani Ranch, where a 90-minute visit offers a glimpse of everyday life on a working ranch in Hawaii. The rainforest setting brings native plants, seasonal fruit, and a small greenhouse vanilla operation into view.

Learn about the plants growing around the ranch and taste fruit when it is in season. Then meet the curious animals, with opportunities to feed and interact with horses, alpacas, donkeys, a mini-horse, goats, peacocks, and a Sulcata tortoise. Bottled water is included, and the experience is suitable for all physical fitness levels.

This Hawaii Ranch Tour & Animal Encounters pairs a look at local agriculture with close-up animal moments. Arrive 15 minutes early and look for the large teak gate at the entrance. Come ready to explore the countryside and enjoy a relaxed taste of ranch life.

How the score works and rating distribution in Big Island of Hawaii
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.4. Top 44% in Big Island of Hawaii means it ranks in the top 44% of tours in Big Island of Hawaii by this score.
