Paddle a river at your own pace in a single inflatable kayak, with a paddle, helmet, and personal flotation device provided.

About this tour

Trade the confines of a hardshell kayak for a nimble inflatable and take to the river at your own pace. This single-person rental gives you a forgiving, maneuverable craft for a self-guided outing. Your kayak, adjustable paddle, helmet, and personal flotation device are provided, along with taxes and fees.

Plan your logistics before setting out: this is a non-guided rental, and transportation of equipment to and from the launch site is not included. A shuttle is recommended, and you should confirm that your experience matches the river section you plan to paddle. Check available maps, arrange a parking pass for the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area, and call ahead to verify your pickup location. Dress for the weather and bring secure footwear, a clipped water bottle, and sunglasses keepers; wetsuits, boots, and splash jackets can be rented when booking.

Choose your river section, get your gear, and enjoy a flexible day on the water in an inflatable kayak.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
