Cruise Clearwater Harbor and the Gulf aboard the Little Toot, with a narrated tour and close-to-the-water dolphin sightings.
About this tour
Set out from Clearwater Beach aboard the Little Toot, a tugboat-shaped vessel whose powerful wake gives dolphins a reason to leap and play. Its low position near the water offers a closer perspective on sightings as you cruise through Clearwater Harbor and into the Gulf of Mexico.
This 75-minute narrated sightseeing tour brings together coastal scenery and the excitement of watching dolphins in their natural surroundings. Listen to your guide as the boat travels along the harbor and out toward the Gulf. The Little Toot’s distinctive shape and wake make the ride part of the fun for adults and children alike.
Arrive early to allow time for parking, ticketing, and boarding, then check in at the Little Toot booth at Slip #12. Choose this Clearwater Beach dolphin adventure for a lively way to experience the water and keep an eye out for playful dolphins along the route.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.90 from 5,897 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Clearwater
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.5. Top 18% in Clearwater means it ranks in the top 18% of tours in Clearwater by this score.
