Fly over Jurassic Falls, Waimea Canyon, the Nāpali Coast, and Mount Waialeale on a narrated 55-minute private Kauaʻi helicopter tour.

About this tour

See Kauaʻi from a remarkable vantage point on a private helicopter tour over the island’s waterfalls, canyons, and coast. In 55 minutes in the air, take in Manawaiopuna, the falls known as Jurassic Falls, then look down on the colorful gorges of Waimea Canyon and the soaring cliffs of the Nāpali Coast. The flight also offers views of Mount Waialeale Crater, one of the wettest places on Earth.

Live narration brings context to the scenery, while headsets help you follow along. This private ride includes life preservers and gives you a sweeping view of landscapes that are difficult to appreciate from the ground. Kauaʻi helicopter tours are weather-dependent, so check in at the Lihue heliport 40 minutes before departure and be ready for the possibility of a schedule change if conditions are poor.

Book your Kauaʻi private helicopter tour for an aerial look at the island’s most striking natural landmarks.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.81 from 534 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Kauai
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
