Fly above Kauaʻi’s valleys, waterfalls, canyons, and coast on a 50-minute helicopter tour with sweeping views and pilot commentary.

About this tour

See Kauaʻi from above on a 50-minute Kauai Helicopter Tour, where deep green valleys, rugged canyons, and the island’s famed coastline unfold beneath you. The Eco-Star helicopter features expansive glass for broad views and noise-reducing technology for a more comfortable flight.

Your journey takes in Hanapepe Valley and Manawaiopuna Falls, known as “Jurassic Park Falls,” before continuing past Olokele Canyon and Waimea Canyon, the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” From there, look toward the soaring cliffs of the Na Pali Coast, Bali Hai, and Hanalei Bay. If weather allows, you may also see Mount Waiʻaleʻale. Sights can vary with conditions, so each flight offers its own perspective on the island.

A certified pilot guide shares the experience through two-way microphones, while Bose noise-canceling headsets help you hear along the way. Book your Kauai Helicopter Tour for a memorable aerial view of the Garden Isle.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.77 on Viator and 4.98 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Kauai
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.9.
