Explore beyond the crowds on a private Maui Road to Hana tour, with jungle waterfalls, snacks, and professional photos and videos.

About this tour

Leave the crowds behind and discover a wilder side of the Road to Hana on a private Maui tour, with professional photos and videos to remember the journey. Instead of navigating the winding road yourself or riding in a large tour van, settle in and focus on the scenery.

Your guide takes you beyond the first waterfall to explore deeper into the jungle, where you can find another cascade many visitors may never see. The private format lets you travel at your own pace, with time to take in the views along the way. Bottled water and snacks are provided, and lunch is not included; the tour stops at food trucks for a chance to buy a meal.

A professional camera documents your experience, so you can enjoy the adventure without worrying about capturing every moment yourself. Choose this Maui private Road to Hana tour for a more personal way to explore the island’s lush landscapes and waterfalls.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 19 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.0. Top 29% in Maui means it ranks in the top 29% of tours in Maui by this score.
