Take in Maui’s scenery from a private airplane cabin for up to five, with panoramic windows and live commentary from the pilot.

About this tour

See Maui from above on a private air tour designed for your group, with a cabin that seats up to five passengers. Maui’s panoramic scenery unfolds through non-tinted windows, while live commentary and headsets help you follow along with the pilot’s narration.

Your flight takes off from the Maui Plane Rides meeting location. Follow the signs, make the first left after the tall control tower, and park; there is no need to check in early. The private cabin gives your group an intimate setting to share the aerial experience, with soda, bottled water, and landing, facility, and parking fees included. Enter every passenger’s accurate weight in pounds when booking. Full mobility is required, though the tour is described as suitable for all physical fitness levels.

Book a Maui Private Air Tour to trade the road for a clear, elevated view of the island. If your chosen date or time is unavailable, the provider will contact you to explore alternatives.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.98 from 821 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui

Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 9.6. Top 1% in Maui means it ranks in the top 1% of tours in Maui by this score.
