Fly over Maui’s valleys, cliffs, and coastline on a smooth, open-cockpit gyrocopter ride with sweeping island views.

About this tour

See Maui from a fresh perspective on a 60-minute gyrocopter flight, with open air between you and the island. From the cockpit, admire lush valleys, rugged cliffs, and the coastline in clear, unobstructed view.

A gyrocopter offers a distinctive way to fly: its rotor spins freely in autorotation while a separate propeller provides forward thrust. The result is a smooth, stable ride that feels both calm and exhilarating. Flight suits are provided, and your pilot will meet you at the hangar near Hāna Airport.

Choose this Maui gyrocopter flight for a memorable aerial look at the island’s varied landscapes. Book your seat and experience Maui from above.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 24 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.1. Top 25% in Maui means it ranks in the top 25% of tours in Maui by this score.
