Sail Maui’s scenic waters with a marine naturalist, search for wild dolphins, and enjoy lunch and drinks on board.

About this tour

Set sail along Maui’s scenic shores and watch the water for dolphins in the wild. On this Maui Dolphin Sailing Adventure, a certified marine naturalist shares insights into local marine life as you scan for acrobatic spinner dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and curious spotted dolphins.

The 2.5- to 3-hour outing pairs wildlife viewing with time on a sailing vessel and an included lunch. Sip unlimited soda, juice, and filtered water, plus one complimentary alcoholic beverage for guests aged 21 and older with valid ID. Kids can take part in the onboard Junior Naturalist Program, and marine wildlife photo cards and a postcard make memorable keepsakes.

Sailing depends on weather and wildlife activity, and the boat may use its engines when needed to protect animals. Whale sightings are guaranteed; if none appear, you can return on another whale watch of equal or lesser value within one year. Come aboard for a refreshing way to experience Maui’s marine life and coastline.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.68 from 67 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.7. Top 38% in Maui means it ranks in the top 38% of tours in Maui by this score.
