Maui Haleakala Downhill Bike Rental

Set out from Haleakala and ride toward the sea on your own schedule with a full-day bike rental on Maui. This self-guided adventure pairs a top-of-the-line mountain bike with the gear and map you need to explore the island’s changing landscapes.

Follow a route through Haleakala National Park and Haleakala Ranch, then continue through Kula and Makawao, where shops and restaurants add a lively stop along the way. The ride carries on to Haiku, a historic north shore town. Your rental includes a helmet, rain gear, a detailed map, and a bike rack for your vehicle. Pick up your equipment at Haiku Marketplace; transportation to the summit is not included, so plan how you’ll reach the starting point. The rack holds up to three bikes, making it practical for a small riding group.

With recent cycling experience and moderate fitness, you can take in the route at your own pace. Reserve your Haleakala downhill bike rental and discover Maui from mountain slopes to the north shore.
