See parts of Maui from above on a 30-minute helicopter flight, a shorter, budget-friendly way to enjoy the island’s scenery.

About this tour

See Maui from above on a 30-minute helicopter flight designed for travelers who want a shorter, budget-friendly way to take in the island’s scenery. From the air, enjoy a bird’s-eye perspective on parts of Maui, with the route and sights shaped by the day’s weather.

Your flight takes place in a shared cabin with up to six passengers and one pilot. Wear dark clothing to help reduce reflections in the windows and improve your photo opportunities. Meet the Air Maui team at the heliport hangar near Maui airport, at the end of the row of offices. Parking is paid by credit card through a QR code.

This Maui Helicopter Tour offers a memorable aerial view without committing to a longer flight. Check passenger weight requirements before booking, then get ready to see the island from a fresh perspective.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 3 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.3.
