Fly over West Maui’s rainforest valleys and waterfalls, then cross to Molokaʻi for towering sea cliffs and remote island scenery.

About this tour

Take to the air for a 50-minute Maui Waterfalls Helicopter Tour over rainforest valleys, knife-edged ridges, and waterfalls spilling down towering cliffs. From above, the ancient West Maui Mountains reveal the dramatic landscape behind Maui’s nickname, “The Valley Isle.”

Your pilot, also a State of Hawaiʻi Certified Tour Guide, shares stories as you pass ʻĪao Valley and cross the Pailolo Channel to Molokaʻi. Look for the island’s immense sea cliffs, remote valleys, Kalaupapa Peninsula, and Hawaiʻi’s tallest waterfall. The Airbus EC 130 is designed for air tours and features Bose noise-canceling headsets and two-way microphones, so you can listen and communicate during the flight. An after-tour video preview is available at the heliport.

Book your Maui Waterfalls Helicopter Tour for a sweeping view of two islands and some of Hawaiʻi’s most striking scenery.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.92 on Viator and 4.59 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 43% in Maui means it ranks in the top 43% of tours in Maui by this score.
