Explore Maui’s coastlines, waterfalls, and historic sights on a private, customizable island tour with hotel pickup and a local guide.

About this tour

See Maui beyond the usual stops on a private island tour shaped around your interests. Over 6–8 hours, travel in a luxury SUV or Mercedes Sprinter van with an in-person guide, taking in the island’s varied scenery at your own pace. The flexible itinerary can include coastal viewpoints, Upcountry, waterfalls in Iao Valley, beaches, cultural landmarks, and historic Lahaina. You can also choose to snorkel or sample local cuisine, with stops tailored to your day.

With private transportation and hotel or condo pickup and drop-off, you can focus on the views rather than the logistics. Bottled water is provided, and a group of up to 11 passengers can share the experience. Your guide offers insight into Maui’s culture and history as you explore away from the crowds.

Make the most of your time on the island with a Maui Private Island Tour designed around what you want to see. Choose your stops and discover Maui at your own pace.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
