Explore Maui’s winding Road to Hāna, stop at a black sand beach, and enjoy a picnic lunch at a classic flower farm.
About this tour
Experience Maui’s Road to Hāna with guides who bring more than 20 years of experience and NAI certification to the journey. Custom-built passenger vans are designed for the winding roads, while small tour sizes make it easier to take in the island’s scenery along the way.
The route includes a long stop at Waianapanapa State Park, where you can enjoy its distinctive black sand beach. Later, pause for a picnic lunch at a classic Hāna flower farm, with a buffet featuring Huli Huli chicken or tofu vegetable coconut curry, sides, and cold drinks. Vegan and vegetarian meal options are available; contact Valley Isle Excursions about dietary needs. An air-conditioned vehicle keeps the ride comfortable as you explore.
Let someone else handle the winding drive and enjoy the sights on this Maui Road to Hāna tour. Eat breakfast aboard your cruise ship before setting out, and keep in mind that weather and schedules may affect times and locations.

How this score is calculated
This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.83 from 24 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.
How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
- Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
- Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
- Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
- The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2.
