Enjoy a three-course Hawaiian feast, Polynesian dances, live music, and a fire knife finale at Te Au Moana in Maui.

About this tour

Follow the ocean’s story at Te Au Moana, a Maui luau at The Wailea Beach Marriott Resort. Its name means “the ocean tide,” a force that connected Polynesian islands, people, and generations. The evening brings that heritage to life through music, dance, and a traditional Hawaiian feast.

Settle in for a three-course meal served tableside, with pre-show music and entertainment to begin the experience. Watch performers share dances from across Polynesia, then stay for the finale: a spectacular fire knife performance. A fresh flower lei may be available, or guests may receive a kukui nut lei or carved wooden necklace instead. The ticket option selected determines admission details.

This Maui luau pairs cultural performance with a memorable evening by the ocean. Share any food allergies when booking, and provide your hotel details and a text-capable cell number to receive your table assignment and check-in time. Choose Te Au Moana for an evening of island traditions, live entertainment, and a generous Hawaiian meal.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.58 from 1,478 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.1.
