About this tour

Make the Road to Hana your own, choosing a pace and activities that fit your interests, the weather, and your energy on the day. This customizable Hana tour can be a relaxed sightseeing journey or an active outing among Maui’s lush landscapes.

Spend time on red-sand beaches, visit botanical gardens, or opt for a hike through a bamboo forest. Depending on your preferences and conditions, you can also explore lava tubes or jump from waterfall cliffs. The itinerary is tailored to your wishes, so you can shape a Hana adventure that feels right for you rather than follow a fixed list of stops.

Bottled water, snacks, fuel surcharge, and landing and facility fees are included. Pickup and drop-off at Paia Youth & Cultural Center are free; hotel pickup may cost $50–$100 depending on location. Botanical garden entrance fees and lunch are not included. Share your hotel details to confirm any pickup charge, then set out for a Road to Hana experience built around the day you want.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 1 review. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.1.
