Explore three floors of immersive art, glass skyboxes, and sweeping New York City views at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt.

About this tour

See Manhattan from a fresh perspective at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, where immersive art meets sweeping city views. Set atop Midtown’s tallest commercial skyscraper, this New York experience spans three floors of multisensory installations and striking architecture.

Wander through indoor art experiences, step into Levitation’s transparent glass skyboxes, and take in 360-degree views of New York City, including close-up sights of the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building. Choose the Ascent ticket upgrade for a ride in an all-glass exterior elevator that climbs 12 stories along One Vanderbilt to a viewing point 1,210 feet above Midtown. Ascent access is subject to operation; if the elevator is unavailable, you can still visit all three floors and receive a $24 refund for that portion of the ticket.

How this score is calculated

This tour scores 4.47 on Viator and 4.70 on GetYourGuide. Ratings on these sites cluster near the top of the 5-star scale, so we compare each one with all other ratings on the same site before combining them.

How the score works and rating distribution in New York City
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 8.1. Top 14% in New York City means it ranks in the top 14% of tours in New York City by this score.
