Fly from Manhattan to Philadelphia, explore historic landmarks at your own pace, then return with a New York City skyline tour.

About this tour

Trade Manhattan’s traffic for a quick flight to the birthplace of American independence. This Philadelphia day trip by helicopter takes about 40–45 minutes each way, giving you more time to explore the city’s historic streets and landmarks.

Depart from the Downtown Manhattan/Wall Street Heliport and fly to Philadelphia, landing at Penn’s Landing Heliport or Philadelphia International Airport. Spend 4–5 hours exploring at your own pace. Visit the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, wander through Old City, browse museums, or stop for lunch at one of the city’s restaurants. Your helicopter and pilot remain on standby while you explore. On the return, take in a New York City skyline tour before landing back in Manhattan.

The round-trip charter operates in an Airbus AS350 or AS355, depending on the option booked. Flights are subject to favorable weather and helicopter maintenance; if canceled for either reason, you can choose another date or receive a full refund. Book this Philadelphia day trip by helicopter for a memorable way to connect two historic East Coast cities.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
