Ride the elevator to the Eiffel Tower’s second level, hear its history, and choose summit access for sweeping views across Paris.

About this tour

See Paris from one of its most iconic landmarks on a guided Eiffel Tower visit. Your guide shares the tower’s history and stories before you ride the elevator to the second level, where the city opens up below. Take time to admire the skyline and look for landmarks such as Notre Dame Cathedral and Les Invalides.

Choose an option with pre-booked elevator access to the summit for an even higher vantage point. Summit access is subject to the selected option and may be unavailable if the top level closes for weather, maintenance, or safety reasons. The tour description also offers an optional one-hour Seine River cruise with select options.

A live guide brings context to the views, while the elevator ride makes the ascent straightforward. Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes early and look for the guide’s white-branded flag. Book your Paris Eiffel Tower Guided Tour by Elevator and take in the city from above.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.38 from 107 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 5.0.
