Ride to the Eiffel Tower’s summit with a local guide, hear its story, and take in panoramic views of Paris in a group of 10 or fewer.

About this tour

See Paris unfold from the Eiffel Tower on a two-hour guided visit in a small group of no more than 10 guests. Ride the elevator to the second floor, where your professional local guide shares stories about the Iron Lady’s construction, history, and place in Parisian life. Get oriented among the city’s landmarks and find the best spots for photos before continuing upward to the summit.

From the observation decks, take in panoramic views and look for the Louvre, Notre-Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Seine. The small-group setting leaves room to ask questions and enjoy the guide’s commentary at your own pace. Summit access can be affected by weather, crowds, technical issues, or operational decisions. If the summit closes, the visit continues on the second floor and the difference between the summit and second-floor options is refunded.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.38 from 21 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.3.
