Explore the Eiffel Tower with a private Paris hotel pickup, a host’s historical introduction, elevator access, and summit views when available.

About this tour

Meet your host at your Paris hotel and set out for the Eiffel Tower, where the city’s most recognizable landmark rises above the Seine. Before you climb, hear an introduction to the tower’s history and get oriented for the visit.

Your host accompanies you through security and toward the elevator, sharing insights about the tower and the views along the way. Summit access by lift is offered, and you can capture high-quality photos with your own devices. The visit is private, with hotel pickup included to make getting to the monument easier. Pre-booked Eiffel Tower tickets are not included, and there is no hotel drop-off after the tour.

The summit can close because of adverse weather, technical issues, or security decisions made by Eiffel Tower authorities. In that case, visitors may go only as far as the second floor, with a partial refund if the summit is closed. Choose this Paris Eiffel Tower Guided Tour for a hosted visit with private pickup and a closer look at the landmark’s story and city views.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.43 from 7 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.8.
