Explore the Eiffel Tower with a private guide, ride the lift to the summit, and take in Paris views with time for photos.

About this tour

See Paris from its most famous landmark on a private Eiffel Tower lift tour. Before you head up, your guide shares an introduction to the tower’s history and helps make the visit straightforward. Then take the elevator toward the summit, with your host accompanying you at least to the second floor and offering insights into the tower and the city views along the way.

Your ticket provides access to all floors, including the summit, subject to Eiffel Tower operating conditions. Bring your own device to capture high-quality photos during the visit. The meeting point is outside the Franprix store at 11 Avenue de la Bourdonnais, a short walk from the tower; arrive at least 15 minutes before your booking.

The summit can occasionally close because of weather or technical or security issues. In that case, access may be limited to the second floor and a partial refund is offered. Choose this Paris Eiffel Tower lift tour for a personal introduction to the landmark and a memorable view over the city.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.00 from 8 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.6.
