Explore the Eiffel Tower with a private guide, reserved access, and elevator rides to the second floor and summit for sweeping Paris views.

About this tour

See Paris from its most iconic landmark on a private Eiffel Tower tour with summit access. With a live guide, discover the stories and history behind the Iron Lady as you ascend by elevator to the second floor. Take in sweeping views of the Seine, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and the city’s grand avenues before continuing to the summit after the guided tour concludes on the second floor.

Reserved access and a private guide make this a personal way to experience the tower, though security checks and elevator queues can still take time. Waiting may range from 30 minutes to 1–2 hours depending on the season and time of day. At the summit, look out over Paris and capture the panorama from above. Heavy luggage, bags, trolleys, and strollers are not permitted at the summit, and the experience is not recommended for people with altitude sickness.

Choose this Paris Eiffel Tower private tour for a guided visit from the second floor to the summit, with time to take in the views at your own pace. Book your visit and see the city from above.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.50 from 24 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Paris
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.4.
