Rapid City Mount Rushmore Lighting Tour 4 hr

See Mount Rushmore take on a new presence after dark on this private Rapid City Mount Rushmore Lighting Tour, led by a former National Park Ranger who once delivered the memorial’s official evening program.

Travel into the Black Hills and climb scenic Iron Mountain Road, where granite tunnels frame views of the presidents’ faces. At the memorial, hear stories of the carving, its engineering challenges, the unfinished chamber behind the sculpture, and tools left in the granite. As twilight falls, attend the official Evening Lighting Ceremony, a moving program of history, film, illumination, and tribute. Then return through the quiet hills with your guide.

Private Jeep Wagoneer transportation, lodging pickup and drop-off, bottled water, soda, and snacks are included. Choose this Rapid City Mount Rushmore Lighting Tour for an intimate evening of striking scenery and ranger-led insight.
