Ride the Vittoriano’s panoramic elevator for 360° Rome views, then explore Palazzo Venezia and its garden at your own pace.

About this tour

See Rome from above at the Vittoriano, the monumental landmark rising over Piazza Venezia. This self-guided visit pairs the building’s sweeping marble architecture with a panoramic elevator ride to the upper terrace, where 360° views take in the city’s rooftops and historic skyline.

Explore the National Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II, including the Sommoportico, the Altar of the Fatherland and the Imperial Forum Wing. Priority access takes you to the panoramic terrace by elevator. Your ticket also covers Palazzo Venezia, its Great Garden and the Museo Centrale del Risorgimento, where exhibitions trace Italy’s history and cultural heritage. Visit each included site once, at your own pace, within seven days of your selected date. The experience takes about 165 minutes; monument access runs from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with last entry at 6:30 p.m. Tickets arrive by email or WhatsApp, and the booking voucher itself is not an entry ticket.

Make time for the Rome Vittoriano Panoramic Terrace Elevator experience and discover the city’s landmark views alongside its history-rich interiors.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 5.00 from 6 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Rome
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.4. Top 26% in Rome means it ranks in the top 26% of tours in Rome by this score.
