See San Francisco’s skyline, Golden Gate Bridge, and lively waterfront on a private evening ride with a local English-speaking driver.

About this tour

See San Francisco sparkle after dark on a private evening ride, with a local driver sharing stories and tips along the way. This 3-hour San Francisco Private Evening Tour offers a flexible way to take in the city’s illuminated landmarks without the crowds of a group excursion.

Start at a high viewpoint for sweeping views of the skyline and bay lights, then head to the Golden Gate Bridge for nighttime scenery and photo stops. Continue to the Palace of Fine Arts, where the lagoon reflects the elegant architecture, before following the Embarcadero past historic piers and the glowing Bay Bridge. Finish at Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39, where the waterfront buzzes beneath views of Alcatraz. Your driver returns you to your hotel or a central location.

Travel in a sedan for groups of up to three or a minivan for four to six. Along the route, your English-speaking driver shares local context and recommendations, though they do not accompany guests inside attractions. How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
