Paddle Sarasota’s clear waters, wind through peaceful mangrove tunnels, and reach secluded beaches on a guided coastal adventure.

About this tour

See Sarasota’s coastal world from a clear kayak, where fish and other marine life move beneath your paddle. This 3-hour guided adventure pairs calm waterways with secluded beaches and a close-up look at the mangrove ecosystem.

Set out in a transparent kayak and follow your local guide through shaded mangrove tunnels. Watch for fish, crabs and birds, with the chance of spotting a manatee or dolphin. Then paddle across shallow turquoise water to hidden beaches accessible only by kayak, where you can swim, relax or take photos. The small-group setting keeps the outing personal, and no kayaking experience is needed, though a basic level of fitness is recommended.

Your tour includes a clear kayak, paddles, life jackets, goggles and snorkel, a beach chair and a guide. Tandem kayaks accommodate up to 385 lb combined; solo riders must weigh no more than 325 lb. Bring a towel, and consider packing sunscreen and bug spray. Discover Sarasota by water on a clear kayak tour that brings the coastline’s quiet details into view.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 4.88 from 8 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Sarasota
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.5. Top 37% in Sarasota means it ranks in the top 37% of tours in Sarasota by this score.
