Take a 60-minute Maui helicopter tour over West Maui and Molokai, with expert pilot narration and sweeping island views.

About this tour

See Maui’s dramatic coastline and mountain scenery from the air on a 60-minute helicopter flight over West Maui and Molokai. The West Maui Mountains rise above the island, while your pilot’s expert narration adds context to the views and the story of Old Hawaii.

Depart from Kahului Heliport and share the cabin with up to six passengers and one pilot. The route and sights may vary with weather, so each flight follows conditions on the day. Wear dark clothing to help reduce reflections in the windows and capture clearer photos. The flight includes a live guide in English, and mobile tickets are available.

This Maui helicopter tour offers a memorable perspective on West Maui and Molokai. Check your departure details with the provider at least 72 hours ahead, then get ready to take in the islands from above.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. Viator rates it 4.74 from 77 reviews. We place that rating among all Viator ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Maui
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 6.7.
