Everglades Kayak Safari Through Mangrove Tunnels 2 hr

Paddle into a quieter side of the Everglades on a guided kayak safari through mangrove tunnels and freshwater habitat. This 2-hour Everglades Kayak Safari introduces you to a remarkable Southwest Florida landscape, with a naturalist guide leading the way and helping you look for wildlife along the route.

Before setting out, get safety instructions and a paddle talk, then settle into a stable kayak with an adjustable seat and life jacket. Along the river, cypress trees draped in Spanish moss frame the water, while alligators may bask along the banks and birds search for food. The route passes through three ecosystems, offering an engaging introduction to the area. Bottled water, snacks, and dry bags or boxes for your belongings are provided.

The meeting point is at the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 29. Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty, and bring sun and bug protection. Join this Everglades Kayak Safari for a close-up look at the region’s waterways and wildlife, guided by a professional naturalist.
