Paddle Rookery Bay on a two-hour beginner kayak tour with an ACA-certified guide, quality gear, and HD photos included.

About this tour

Get your feet wet on a guided paddle through Rookery Bay, where the quiet waterways offer a refreshing way to experience the Naples area. This beginner-friendly kayak tour lasts about two hours and is led by an ACA-certified guide with year-round experience.

Set out in a Native Ultimate FX kayak with a kayak-specific life jacket and fiberglass paddle. A dry bag helps keep your belongings protected, and HD photos are included so you can remember the trip. The operator describes this as a classic local route and emphasizes its commitment to eco-tourism and support for wildlife refuges and conservation areas.

Your meeting point is at the very end of Shell Island Road, not the Rookery Bay Visitor Center. Follow the paved road past the pull-offs and Fish and Wildlife offices until it dead-ends. Choose this Naples beginner kayak tour for an easygoing introduction to paddling with a knowledgeable guide, then get ready to explore Rookery Bay from the water.

How this score is calculated

This tour has no TourTruth score yet: Viator doesn't show a usable rating for it. It gets a score as soon as a provider lists one.

How the score works
  • Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
  • Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
  • Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
  • The result is shown from 0 to 10. Tours without a usable provider rating are not scored.
