Watch the sunset over Assateague Island on a private Ocean City cruise, with wildlife spotting and room for up to six guests.

About this tour

Settle into a private boat as the sun sinks over Assateague Island. This 75-minute Ocean City Private Sunset Cruise gives your group a peaceful view of the bay, with open sky and the chance to spot wildlife along the shore.

A USCG-licensed captain takes up to six guests through Ocean City's calm back bays and along the Assateague shoreline, home to the island's famous wild ponies. Keep watch for ponies, dolphins, ospreys, herons, and egrets while your captain shares insights and answers questions about the wildlife, barrier island, and life on the water. With no other guests aboard, you can bring your own beverages, play your music, and enjoy the evening at your own pace.

Meet behind the Aloft Hotel on 45th Street, bayside, next to the Liquid Therapy bar, and arrive 20 minutes early to check in. Book your Ocean City Private Sunset Cruise for a relaxed evening on the water and a memorable view of the Eastern Shore.

How this score is calculated

This score is based on one provider. GetYourGuide rates it 5.00 from 2 reviews. We place that rating among all GetYourGuide ratings and weight it by its review count. If the tour is found on another provider later, both ratings are combined.

How the score works and rating distribution in Ocean City

Each provider rating is turned into a percentile: the share of that provider's ratings it beats, weighted by review counts.
Listings on different providers are combined in proportion to their review counts.
Tours with few reviews are pulled toward the average until more reviews come in, so a handful of perfect reviews can't top the list.
The result is shown from 0 to 10: this tour scores 7.2. Top 50% in Ocean City means it ranks in the top 50% of tours in Ocean City by this score.
